NEOFLUX™ 300 is an effective specialty flux designed to remove oxide build-up on the refractory walls of gas fired reverberatory melting and holding furnaces. It helps control build-up of alumina and high-melting-point non-metallics on furnace walls that may reduce furnace capacity and refractory life.

Preheat empty furnace until lining changes to red color (Temp ~800-850 ^oC). Use Flux Feeder to spray the entire wall furnace area with NEOFLUX™ 300. Re-heat for 15 minutes, then use scraping tool to clean wall. It should apply NEOFLUX™ 300 once per week to prevent accumulation of build-up.
