WHITEGUARD ™ 101A
Surface Stabilizing Coating for Greensand Molds
WHITEGUARD ™ 101A is an air-drying water-based coating containing a high-temperature inorganic binder. It is applied to greensand mold surfaces using conventional spray equipment. WHITEGUARD ™ 101A coating stabilizes (reinforces) the greensand mold surface to prevent mold sand erosion and related casting defects.

Application
WHITEGUARD ™ 101A coating is supplied as a low-viscosity liquid. It should be mixed thoroughly to ensure it is homogenous prior to removal from supply containers. WHITEGUARD ™ 101A coating is used as-supplied – do not dilute.
This coating is best applied using “low-pressure” spray equipment. Pressure pot or double-diaphragm pump systems are acceptable. The spray system should provide for separate control for liquid and air supply to the spray gun.

Storage Should be stored cool and dry in tightly closed drum.
