NEOFLUX™ 1000 is a general purpose exothermic drossing flux that converts dross with a high metal content into a low-metal content powder. Through this conversion process, the flux returns valuable metal to the furnace. NEOFLUX™ 1000 is suitable for use in all furnace types, but is not recommended for use with high magnesium or hypereutectic aluminum alloys.
